DESIGN INFORMATION?

The BOATHOUSE Quilt Collection is a patchwork quilt made with the 100% Cotton! We are loving the deeper neutrals in this quilt… deep steel grey, dark stormy bluish gray, creamy Taupe, deep charcoal and medium chocolate or coffee brown all in the same patchwork quilt on a creamy white background. This assortment of breathable cotton fabric is cut out and sewn back together in an offset chevron and is perfectly comfortable to sleep under or curl up in on a comfy chair. The reversible quilt features a lovely blue hued charcoal print on the back. (Lake Cottage and rowboat are not included). Matching quilted pillow shams comes in King and Queen sizes. You can choose to use it as is or choose from a variety of our other throws, pillows and more to help you create a more layered look.

WHAT SIZE DO YOU NEED?

Mattresses come in many different thicknesses now and if you have questions about what size you should buy, we recommend measuring on your bed for correct size, keeping in mind that the corners of your quilt at the end of your bed will always hang lower than on the sides and the end of the bed.

The King is generously sized at 104″x100″. (Standard King Size is 100×90″), The King will likely fit any King but you can still measure to be sure. Keep in mind that this pattern allows for turning so that you can use the 104″ across the bed or the 100″ across the bed, depending on if you want more length or width.

The Full/Queen is sized at 88″x90″. (Standard King Size is 86×86″), This size will be great on a Full Size Bed but if you have a thicker Queen mattress, you may want to consider sizing up to the King but go ahead and measure to be sure. Keep in mind that this pattern allows for turning so that you can use the quilt with the longest length going across or from head to foot. 

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY QUILT?

This quilt is 100% Cotton. The quilt and shams are machine washable. We recommend washing it in a washer that does not have a center agitator, ensuring that nothing gets caught. We recommend using either a mild store bought detergent such as Woolite, that is gentle on fabrics and thread or even White Vinegar (natural sanitizer but gentle on fabric). Regular Laundry  detergents tend to be harsh on the fabric and thread. Wash on gentle cycle in cold to warm water and dry on low to medium heat on gentle cycle. Remove and shake several times while drying to ensure that the whole quilt is being dried evenly or line dry.
